The Community-Based Mangrove Restoration and Ecotourism project connects habitat recovery with local stewardship, education, visitor awareness, and community benefit. This section is designed for field teams to keep each community profile current with approved text, photos, and video.

As MRPO receives documentation from field visits, each community page can show what was observed, what was discussed, and how local conservation activity is taking shape.

Tumnob Rolok Fishery Tourism Community

TUMNOB ROLOK FISHERY TOURISM COMMUNITY is created under COMET Project. It represents local ecotourism business in TUMNOB ROLOK . The members have developed and established eco-friendly services for tourism. They first establish mangrove nursery for 1,500 mangrove seed, ready to serve to tourits. Seconds, they build one floating raft which is currently serving customers who come to their community. Last, the community will also renovate their fishing boats into tour boat. All their boat tour will allow visitors to see mangroves, fishing, bird watch.

Chong Ou Mangrove Beauty Ecotourism

CHONG OU MANGROVE BEAUTY ECOTOURISM is named by CHONG OU FISHERY MEMBERS under COMET Project. It represents local ecotourism business in CHONG OU . The members have developed and established eco-friendly community centre with santiatoin toilets for tourist, researcher and students. They also establish mangrove nursery for 1,500 mangrove seed, ready to serve to tourits who want to have a good memory via planting. They renovates fishing boats into tour boats serving vistors for fishing , bird watch, species and other activities. Visitor can do camping there.

Keo Phos Commune Mangrove Ecotourism

Keo Phos Commune Mangrove Ecoutism is created by Keo Phos Fishery Community under COMET Project. It represents local ecotourism business in Keo Pho. The members have developed and established eco-friendly services for tourism. They made three progress in community. First, they build floating rafting selling food, tour boat and camping floor on mangrove canopy in the community. Second, mangrove nursery is established to offer visitor extra pay for envirnment by planting mangrove seed. Last, they have turn their fishing boats into tourist boats to provide quick ride service for visitor to see mangroves, people, biodiveristy and their resources.
